About Heather

Art and horses, those two worlds have been the center of my entire life. I got my first pony when I was around 8, and I was drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. Since those early days, I have owned many ponies, and many pencils! All types of art and all types of riding have attracted me. I have done murals, signs, portraits, book illustrations, horse jumps, computer animations, websites, and have ridden english, hunter, dressage, western, driving, trail, and even gaited horses.

A native Floridian, I received a Bachelor's of Fine Art, majoring in Computer Animation, from the Ringling College of Art and Design in 2006. It was while I was in college that I received the training to write websites and really fell in love with the making of beautiful art online. After graduation, I moved to Tennessee to take advantage of the many areas of rural horse country that the Volunteer state has to offer. My daughter and I have settled in McMinnville, a gorgeous area near the vacation spot of Centerhill Lake. We live on a small hobby farm and are awaiting arrival of my prospect horse, a lovely Arab/Trakehner bred in Tekamah, Nebraska.
