A quick overview
To start a website you need:
· Pick, register, and pay for a domain
· Pick and pay for Hosting space online
· A website design
· Go live with the design
· Updates and maintainence
Full price due upon online approval of design with minimal content. Addition of content and media will happen immediately following payment. Most sites online within a few days, and will happen faster with all content in my possession.
Prices
If you wish to use PayPal, let me know and I will send a PayPal invoice to your email.
$200 for Mini-size site(1 through 3 pages) includes domain/hosting for one year
$300 for Pony-size site(4 through 7 pages) includes domain/hosting for one year
$550 for Horse-size site (8 through 12 pages) includes domain/hosting for one year
$700 for Draft-size site (13-15 pages, $20 each extra page) includes domain/hosting for one year
$50 discount for any size site if you take care of domain/hosting, please contact me for an invoice instead of using buttons.
Also Included: a bunch of Emails, 2 free updates a month for 1st year, Paypal buttons, guest statistics, movies and music, guestbook, custom graphics, submission to search engines, and code compliance, plus listing under The3dpalette.com's Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook and suggestions for other internet advertising if needed.
If you want to have total control over your domain and hosting, I recommend either Godaddy or HostGator, they offer both. I use both.
I will walk you through the steps, and you can do as much or as little in the process as you want. I never ever will hold your site hostage, you are free to take over the process at any time, and I will even teach you the basics to help you in the future!
I write all sites in hand coded HTML/css/javascript, all designs are custom using your barn or business colors, helping you to establish your all important advertising "look". Templates, custom Wordpress blog templates, and specialty sites available also.

Hosting with me is crazy easy!
To access all your files and the backend of the site, just use the protocol http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel. Log in with your id and password and you are good to go.
To access your webmail from ANY internet connection, just use the protocol http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail. Log in with your email that you want to check and password and you are good to go.
Yearly fee for updating (two a month-1 hour max) without domain/hosting- $60 a year. If you feel you will only need an occasional update or help, I charge $20 a half hour, $35 an hour. Less than 15 minutes(once a quarter), free! This is only available on sites that I have designed.
No hidden fees, ever. All items offered will be with a written contract, no surprises, and no paid work done without upfront notice.
Specialty Items:
Wordpress Templates- Flat fee of $100 for a completely custom template and placing on your hosting/domain, includes adding all the pages you want, placing some static text and images for you to start with, and a brief training/customizing session for your site. Does not include domain/hosting. This is a template, you add most the content. If you need domain/hosting, price above.
Flash/Dynamic Flash/HTML Templates-I can customize a template for you. Websites like HostMonster, id3Themes, or do a search for 'website templates' are a good place to start. There are many different types of templates. Flat fee of $300 for updating an HTML or Dynamic Flash template under 12 pages. Each additional page will be $15. Flash templates, requiring Adobe Flash and scripting start at $1000, and require a free consultation of the files first. There are many other types of templates on the market, free consultation available for those, and priced on a time-needed basis. I will be honest with you and tell you if my abilities are a good fit for what you have.
Shopping Carts- A fully customized shopping cart, using Zen Cart( requires a dedicated IP and Private SSL) is $150 for me to set up and add a couple items and get you started, (if you want me to do it all, additional $50 per block of 20 items added, significant discount if items are similar and all your info is organized well). You will have a log in to add items and change prices, shipping, etc. A once a Year fee of $150 is also REQUIRED for every year you have the cart in use. THIS IS NOT MY FEE, THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR SSL /DEDICATED IP FEE FOR TRANSMISSION OF PRIVATE CUSTOMER DATA OVER THE INTERNET. You are welcome to take care of this fee yourself on your own hosting, your hoster may offer it cheaper.
A word about why my prices for a custom site are inexpensive compared to many designers. My base prices are for a very beautiful site, with the additions named, but simple, easy to navigate design. Flash and other specialty items available, but there will be a significant upcharge. Also, I really wish for all horse businesses, no matter how small, to have a chance to have good quality working websites, both for their own benefit, and the rewards of having a good internet presence to show to the non-horse public.
I only do family and animal friendly websites.
Access your site with the cpanel, or please visit FTP Commander to download a free, virus and adware free FTP(File Transfer Protocol) to help access your files hosted with The 3D Palette. Simply download, install, and I will walk you through the ID and password you need to get started. After that, it is as easy as uploading and downloading your files, images and other items to place on your site! I NEVER hold your files hostage, you always have instant access to all files!
